One of the Most Important Festival
on the Lunar Calendar But What Made It So Special???
Chinese New Year is one of the most important and biggest festivals in the Chinese
culture. It begines on the first day of the first month. Throughout this month, there are customs and rituals
everybody must follow.
Although I moved to the United States since 2002, I still follow this tradition with my
American husband wholehearterly every year. I always make sure that both of us would do certain things, such as having
haircut before its arrival, and not to do some other stuffs until the end of it.
I
break it down to several sub-topics so that it will be easier for you to understand:

will need to be followed during this period of time?
5. Food - What kind of food the Chinese have during the Chinese New Year?
